They have all started (and love!) eating soft solid foods. Paisley will slowly wean them over the next few weeks. Right now she pops in and out of the whelping box for "snack time" every few hours. By seven weeks they will be eating all dry puppy food.
We like to start potty training early. Once the puppies start walking well, about 3 1/2 weeks, their whelping box is expanded with an area divided off as a "potty" area (newspapers). Dogs instinctively like to keep their 'den' clean so they start leaving the play area to go potty as soon as they are able. These puppies have picked up training easily and are 95% accident free. Fonda takes the whole litter outside to the grass to potty every two hours as well. Once they are big enough to use the dog door safely, (another week or so...) Paisley will start taking them out the dog door to the bathroom with her. Potty training these puppies will be a snap!
Tiny Tim, Scrooge and Polar are all still available for adoption.
Tiny Tim has a white coat. He was the first born and was and still is the smallest of the litter (along with Spice). He LOVES to play. He will have a nice thick wavy coat and beautiful black points.
Scrooge is nothing like his name! He is a sweetie. He is one of the biggest of the litter and he has a beautiful classic goldendoodle rectangular shaped head. He has nice black points and a dark cream, wavy coat. He is right in the middle of the pack with energy level.
Polar is the biggest pup of the litter. He was also last to open his eyes! He has a nice rectangular head with dark black points and a beautiful cream, wavy coat. He is in the middle of the pack with his energy level. He is super soft and loves to cuddle.
