They are walking well and have all managed to throw themselves out of the whelping box more than once! They nurse about four times a day and they are starting to be awake more often (still sleep most of the time...).
We loosen collars and trim nails every day as needed.
All of the babies love to romp outside but they don't like to be separated. They tend to explore as a little pack. When they are tired they all yip and cry until they find each other and crawl into a little pile.
They are starting to chew on each other and are trying to mouth the environment around them. Little baby teeth are starting to show which is going to make nursing time even more fun for Paisley! Personalities are very similar--easy going and pleasant--which is a great trait that the English factor brings to the pups. The next few weeks will tell us even more about the dogs they will become.
We will start introducing solids at the end of this week and puppies will start slowly weaning over the next few weeks.
